Helen Montagnaro
was born in Annapolis, Maryland in 1955. While living in Italy
and raising her two children, she was greatly influenced by the
classical beauty and eccentricities of Naples. After moving back
to America she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior
Design at Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia. She
gained experience working for three local design firms before
opening Studio m.3 in 1996.
Helen's philosophy is mixing
"old with new", paying very close attention to scale,
proportion, and color, and stressing the simplicity of basic
elements. This brings an eclectic, harmonious and effortless
style to her interiors. There is always a blend of historical
modernism and classicism, creating a layered and unique
composition. |
